Background: Oral cancer accounts for 3% of all malignancies. Progression to malignancy occurs with a gradual process. potentially malignant disorders (OPMD) are associated the development transformation toward oral cancer. Objectives: This registry aimed at introducing an exact data gathering method detecting, managing, and monitoring patients OPMD decrease occurrence Methods: In this registry, such as leukoplakia, erythroplakia, lichen planus Shahid Beheshti Dental School, Tehran, Iran were included. Patients' information including demographics, clinical, histopathological features, type OPMD, treatment measures, lesion changes in follow-up intervals recorded software. addition, quality assurance team supervised guaranteed control entire Results: The following measures have been accomplished so far: ethically-approved proposal, comprehensive form, web-based registration software, manual operation, signing collaborative contract more than 8 dental schools throughout Iran, identification 100 eligible patients, Research Deputy University Medical Sciences, codification verified ethically approved proposal. is getting advantage being sponsored by Disease Registry Center Sciences. Conclusions: prospect provide nationwide diagnostic service continuous protocol through network Iran.
